Whistler’s Family Restaurant has spanned as many as three generations of the Hirst family. Currently Owned and operated by Randy & Moira Hirst, Whistler’s Family Restaurant was originally built in 1979 by Bob & Margaret Hirst and named “Whistler’s Fish & Chips”. It housed a Drive-in, Produce Market & Gift Shop. In 1985, it was sold to Bob’s son Ron and his wife Bonnie and remained a Drive-in and Video Arcade. In 1997, they remodeled it into what you see today. In 2002, Whistler’s was purchased by Ron & Bonnie’s daughter Lacey, who owned and operated Whistler’s until March 2005, when it was purchased by Randy and his wife Moira. |
